Passport reader ID-Star for Airport Istanbul

The new international terminal at Atatürk Airports in Istanbul was equipped with 65 passport readers ID-Star in January of 2000. More than 14 million passengers are checked every year. The turn-key solution was developed by Open Text Document Technologies together with our Turkish partner METEKSAN SISTEM (Ankara) for the airport operator T.A.V.

Open Text Document Technologies was responsible for delivery, installation and commissioning of ID-Star and application software. METEKSAN SISTEM employs more than 250 people in 22 facilities and has 100 service centers throughout Turkey. METEKSAN mostly handles government projects and projects for financial institutions.
