Open Text Document Technologies system for Swiss telecommunication provider Sunrise

Sunrise Communications AG (Zurich) uses an Open Text Document Technologies system for handling different tasks. The system consists of colour scanner ScanStar, character recognition software RecoStar and document processing software BUSY. One application is the processing of responses from mailings.

Up to 3,000 colour A5 documents (half-letter size) are processed daily. The second application is processing of financial documents with an annual volume of 120,000 forms. The third application is the processing of 2,000 new member application forms daily.
